1. About Us
Newquay Dog Walking Club provides professional small-group dog walking services in Newquay, Pentire, Crantock and surrounding areas.
We operate a structured, limited-capacity membership model to ensure calm, safe and high-quality walks.
2. Services
We provide:
Small group dog walks
Scheduled weekly memberships
Pre-booked ad hoc walks (subject to availability)
Walk duration includes collection and drop-off time.
3. Membership & Booking
Membership spaces are limited and allocated on a monthly basis with fixed weekly slots.
By booking or subscribing, you agree to:
Provide accurate information about your dog
Disclose behavioural issues
Keep vaccinations up to date
Inform us of health conditions
We reserve the right to decline or withdraw service with a refund if a dog presents safety concerns.
4. Payments
We accept:
Stripe (card payments via website)
Bank transfer (if agreed)
Cash (by arrangement only)
Payment is required:
In advance for weekly memberships
In advance for ad hoc bookings
Invoices must be paid before services commence.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Membership Cancellations
A minimum of 21 days’ written notice is required to cancel or amend a membership space.
Notice periods apply from the date written notice is received. Your membership will continue for the 21 day notice period following written cancellation.
Single Walk Cancellations
24 hours’ notice required for cancellation or changes.
Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Refund Processing - where refunds are approved:
Stripe refunds are processed back to the original card within 5–10 working days.
Cash payments are refunded via bank transfer.
Processing times depend on banking providers.
6. Access to Property
Clients agree to provide safe access for collection and return of their dog.
Newquay Dog Walking Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage unless caused by negligence.
7. Insurance & Liability
We are fully insured for:
Public liability
Care, custody and control
While every precaution is taken, dog walking carries inherent risks including:
Injury from natural terrain
Interaction with other animals
Unpredictable behaviour
Owners accept these risks when engaging our services.
8. Health & Emergencies
In the event of illness or injury:
We will attempt to contact the owner immediately.
If unreachable, we reserve the right to seek veterinary treatment.
Veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner.
9. Aggressive or Unsafe Behaviour
Dogs displaying aggression or unsafe behaviour may be removed from the group.
We prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care.
10. Weather Policy
Walks operate in most weather conditions.
In cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions, walks may be adjusted or rescheduled.
11. Photography
We may take photos of dogs during walks for:
Client updates
Website or social media
If you prefer your dog not to appear in marketing materials, please notify us in writing.
12. Data Protection
We handle client information in accordance with UK GDPR.
Personal data is used solely for providing services and will not be shared without consent.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions.
Clients will be notified of material changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
