Why I chose to build this membership business
Thoughtful, structured dog walking in Newquay
Newquay Dog Walking Club grew from something simple. Life is busy, even when you love your dog deeply.
I work as a Corporate Events and Marketing Director, running large projects that rely on organisation, accountability and careful planning. That background means I naturally build systems that are calm, structured and dependable.
At home, life looks very different.
I have my own spaniel, and I know how important those walks are — not just for exercise, but for connection. I also discovered how many people locally needed more reliable support with walking. Not last-minute arrangements or overcrowded packs. Something steady.
So I built the kind of service I would want for my own dog.
Dogs thrive on rhythm.
Fixed walk days. Small compatible groups (maximum four).
Consistent coastal routes across Pentire, Crantock and the Gannel. A structure that allows owners to plan life in advance — knowing their dog is cared for properly each week.
The goal isn’t volume. It’s consistency.
Calm, professional standards
This may be a local venture, but it runs properly.
• Fully insured
• DBS checked
• Canine first aid trained
• Secure key handling
• Structured transport setup
• Clear communication after every walk
You’ll always know where your dog has been and how they’ve been.
Built with care
This isn’t a large-scale operation.
It’s a carefully managed membership, designed for people who want a reliable extra pair of hands — whether that’s busy professionals, families, or anyone who simply needs support.
Because sometimes the best gift you can give yourself is knowing your dog is safe, exercised and happy — so your time together feels even more special.
